Super saloon for Koenigsegg
Swedish super car maker Koenigsegg is designing a four-door saloon.
The wholly carbon fiber super-sedan will be fitted with a new 700bhp V8, and will be light than any other top saloon that can be seen on the market and includes the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera. A target of 350kph has been set.
A clay model of the car is made so that the style can be used in actual production. The actual prototype will be launched at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. But still the Koenigsegg is looking for investors for assistance for the completion of the project.
Production of 70-80 saloons in a year is planned. Half of the production is for sale in the US. The saloon will be a little less costly than the CCX coupe from which it shares some of its structure.
