Porsche GB scholarships: Be fast!
Porsche GB is extending 2 ‘scholarships’, each worth £50,000, for would-be drivers to participate in the Carrera Cup GB Championships.
To be eligible, drivers must be between 17 and 22 as on 1 January 2009. They must possess a National race license, and should not have entered the Carrera Cup GB prior to this. They are also required to confirm that they can pay for the rest of the budget required to participate for the season.
Fledglings should send a CV and the reasons they should be nominated to carreracupgb-at-porsche.co.uk, by 10 October 2008. 6 drivers will be picked out for rating at Silverstone on 21-22 October, with track tests in the 911 GT3 Cup cars.
Scholarship receivers will get the opportunity to imitate Richard Westbrook, the 2004 Carrera Cup champion.
