Mercedes Concept BlueZero E-Cell
January 19th, 2009
Mercedes-Benz has 3 eco-friendly cars on its stand that are all marked as BlueZero – and this is the E-Cell hatchback.

The BlueZero E-Cell is an electrically-driven five-door compact hatch – which has shades of the next-generation A- and B-Class, with lithium-ion batteries. It will have a 62-mile range on a two-hour recharge.
There is also a BlueZero F-Cell fuel cell vehicle and the BlueZero E-Cell Plus which is a range-extended EV.
The E-Cell Plus has the Smart Fortwo’s 3-cylinder engine that acts as a creator and recharges the batteries. This is good for 373 miles between recharges.
