Touareg BlueMotion Introduced by VW

Volkswagen is setting up a BlueMotion edition of its Touareg 4×4, extending amended fuel ratio and lesser discharges.

The CO2 emissions is 219g/km. This allows the Touareg BlueMotion to be rated below the tax threshold of less than 225g/km. The price is fixed at £34,150 for the entry-level trim and £37,545 for the SE version.
It is equipped with a well-organized variant of the regular car’s 3.0-litre V6 TDI ordinary rail diesel engine. It produces 223bhp and is matched to a 6 speed automatic tiptronic gearbox.

Revised aerodynamics an optimized engine which has a more effective generator, stumpy undulating resistance tyres and the drive height brought down by 25mm to cut down drag are the different alterations introduced.

It also has regenerating braking system which is utilized to recharge the battery when the vehicle is in motion. This helps in reduction of the workload of the engine and cuts fuel expenditure further.
