Hydrogen Supplied Urban Car Designed by Students
A Smart classed hydrogen city car is contrived by British-based university students. This car will be unveiled next week.
The Riversimple Urban Car formulated by teams at Oxford and Cranfield universities gets its power supplied from a 6kw fuel cell. It can go up to 50mph and has an ambit of more than 200 miles.

Its proportions are not bigger than a Smart and its weight is only 350kg. It utilizes a tiny fuel cell and thus requires a smaller amount of hydrogen to be stored on board and also in fuelling stations.
It boasts a lightweight complex body and 4 electric motors on each wheel. These motors and its power double as brakes and electricity generators. A bank of mega capacitors store the electricity, which allows for most of the quickening power.
The cars will be rented for a minimum of 20 years, with fuelling included in the renting cost. The materials will be cast-off at the closing stages of each car’s lifespan.
