Porsche has revealed its next-generation 911 Turbo, whole with a new 3.8-litre straight insertion petrol engine giving 493bhp.

The 911 Turbo is to make its public first appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. The German sports car maker states that the new car will give altered functioning, lesser weight, improved driving dynamics and better fuel competence.
It is the 7th generation of Porsche’s flagship model. It will have the first complete new engine in the 35-year history of the 911 Turbo. The new 6-cylinder 3.8 substitutes the old 3.6 unit. It will also have a twin turbochargers with changeable turbine geometry.

The next generation Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe and Cabriolet will be on sale in the UK on November 21 2009. Standard equipment is the touch-screen Porsche Communication Management system together with Bluetooth mobile telephone and i-Pod connectivity. It will be priced from £101,823 for the Coupe and £109,048 for the Cabriolet.

Suzuki will carry on to put forward 0% APR finance for its Swift, Splash, SX4 and Grand Vitara models till the last of September 2009.

Tata is producing it’s first-ever MUV the Indicruz. The Indicruz will be a competitor to the Toyota Innova and the Mahindra Xylo. Tata’s car range will include some more variety in addition to this Multi-Utility Vehicle.
The Indicruz is founded on the platform of the Tata Safari and will boast the same 2.2-litre engine barricade which powers the Safari.

The Tata Indicruz has the 32-bit 2.2-litre 16 valve DICOR engine. The engine has 2 versions. One which develops 140bhp and the other develops 120bhp. The Indicruz will be powered by 140bhp.

Mitsubishi is providing 2 new variants to its Outlander range and they are the 2.0 DI-D SE and GSE.

The Mitsubishi Outlander SE costs £19,999. It includes 18″ alloys, Bluetooth, sail check, solitude glass, side and curtain airbags and a 3rd row of seats in its list of specifications. The GSE version also has all the above plus leather seats and a rear-ceiling-mounted DVD player. This results in an additional cost of £1,500 more than the SE model.
The Outlander SE and GSE variants qualify for service gaps of 12,500 miles or for every 12 months with a 3 years limitless mileage warranty. These variants also comes with a 3 years pan European collapse and retrieval service, and also a 12-year anti-corrosion puncture warranty.

Both the cars also have a range of finance, from 50% deposit with 0% APR for 12 months to 10% deposit at 7.9% APR for 60 months.

The number of cars sold in India increased to an annual rate of 7.8% in June. 107,531 cars were sold in June by the Indian car companies, when compared to 99,741 cars sold a year earlier.

Nissan has revealed a new all-electric tiny family tailgate called the Leaf. The car is to cost £20,000 and this Nissan claims that it will be the world’s first reasonably priced electric car. This car will be on sale here in 2011. But there is a hitch and that is the customers will be required to pay £100 a month extra to rent the high-tech lithium ion batteries which powers the car.

The Leaf features a real-world lay out of above 100 miles and under the boater is fixed a 108bhp electric motor that moves the Leaf from 0-62mph in less than 10 seconds before reaching a top speed of 90mph.

It can be recharged up to 80% of its total capacity in just about 30 minutes with a speedy charger. But if a customer wants to use a normal domestic charge then the charging time is 8 hours.

According to car expert Glass a collapse in the sales of car will most likely be the outcome if the government does not continue the scrappage scheme at least till next summer.
