Brusa Spyder unveiled

A Swiss company has brought out a new Tesla matching roadster known as the Spyder.

Spyder is the result of a thesis which started at a university project done by the engineering school of Buchs NTB students in Switzerland.
Later on Brusa got occupied with the car’s production and has given it the majority of its design like that of Porsche.

But this car is not as fast as the Tesla. Brusa, states that the Spyder 62mph will accomplish the 0-60mph spring in less than 6 seconds and then move on to a top speed of above 125mph.
Two electric motors provide the power which the car requires. This makes driving through the rear wheels and a total power output of around 270hp is provided by the motors. The car can travel around 80 miles at a mean speed of 50mph before it has to be recharged.

Tesla Looks for 350 Million Dollar Loan


Tesla is asking the US Government for a $350 million loan. The company has also claimed that if the loan is not sanctioned then the proposed new plant at San Jose will not be possible.

The American company, had sold its 100th £90k electric roadster this week, has plans for expansion and would like to add a saloon, the Model S.
Already the company has hit trouble and two months ago had to lay off 100 members of staff. Now it’s under more financial pressures and will have to delay the launch of the Model S, if it doesn’t get the government funding.

Tesla says that if the US Government agrees the $350 million loan, it can continue to expand and sell 20,000 electric saloon cars each year by 2011.

Brabus airs Tesla Roadster

Brabus has bowed its amendment special treatment to the electrically-driven Tesla Roadster.

The Brabus Zero Emission Tesla paradigm, on show at the Essen Motor Show this week, has a matte white paint job, Brabus mono-block light-alloy wheels (18″ up front, 19″ to the rear) and Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres.
Daylight operation lights have been included into the front framework, matte-white environs extra to the headlamps and a carbon fibre front lip spoiler fitted. To the back are a carbon fibre wing and diffuser, and white-edged taillights.

Brabus has set up a new devoted allotment called Zero Emission, and devices to work supplementary with Tesla; it hopes to present the features of this prototype as choices for Tesla buyers, maybe as a possible fixed-edition model.
