BMW ’8-Series’ CS: officially terminated

BMW has established that it has stopped plans to manufacture a version of the Concept CS luxury four-door coupe to production.
Volkswagen Microbus

Volkswagen is gravely in view of manufacturing of its new-age Microbus idea, according to reports this week.
The idea- a retro-style amusement of the classic Kombi was actually first seen in 2001, but the scheme was postponed due to the failing of the dollar in the US which was the company’s main target market.
The company will be producing the Microbus at its new US factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The bus will share its bearing out with Volkswagen’s forthcoming new US-market saloon and not the Transporter/Multivan/Caravelle vans as in the beginning it was suggested.
The company was looking for ways to manufacture the Microbus that will make it economical in North America. The company spokes person also said that there was no scope of making the microbus in Europe till the exchange rate gets better.
