Images of Lamborghini Gallardo known as the LP550-2 have been leaked out on the web. It is a lightweight two-wheel-drive.

The car is yet to be officially unveiled. Even before it can be formally released the images have leaked on netcarshow.com.

The LP550-2 deals its 4×4 grip for back wheel drive, cutting down weight by 30kg in the process. In spite of the decreased weight, the 2 wheel drive Lamborghini is in reality more sluggish than the standard car. The Lamborghini LP550-2 has being given a detuned 542bhp edition of the 5.2-litre V10.

The Lamborghini LP550-2 can be expected more or less to take up to 3.9 seconds to 62mph rather than 3.7s dash of the standard car.
It is also being heard that the new LP550-2 will be commercialised as an entry-level Gallardo. The prices are anticipated to start from around £130,000.
