This is done to pass on the advantage of excise duty reduction on large cars declared in the Budget.

Ford India declared a decrease in the price of its sport utility vehicle (SUV) ”Endeavour”, by Rs 6,000.

Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) cut down the prices of its luxury sedan ”Accord” and SUV ”CR-V” by Rs 5,000.

Ford India also added that the price reduction of Rs 6,000 would be applicable on all 3 variants of its model Endeavour”.

Whereas HSCI said that the price cuts would make its Accord available at a price between Rs 17.72 lakh and Rs 24.80 lakh and CR-V would be priced between Rs 22.92 and Rs 23.62 lakh.

The Ford Escape Hybrid is among the top three by merging the utility and serviceability of the gas-only Escape with a fuel-sipping hybrid power train.  Commentators like its muscular exterior and contented seats, but criticize about swollen managing and the lack of stability control.

The Mercury Mariner hybrid has all the strengths and weaknesses of the Ford, but with a more refined interior.  Regrettably it is costly also. But still, commentators love the balance of standard features. But they’re not as beguiled with the Mariner Hybrid’s baggy handling.
