Aston reveals advantage GT4 racer
Aston Martin has unveiled its new Vantage GT4 racer this week in Dubai.
The Vantage GT4 acquires the novel 4.7-litre V8 in place of its forerunner 4.3, said to give larger awareness and augmented torsion during the rev range.
The 1,330kg GT4 is 300kg lighter than the ordinary car. A steel rollcage and Recaro contest seats has been fixed, along with six-point safety reins, a fire extinguisher and quick-release steering wheel.
The Vantage GT4 is manufactured to the FIA GT4 rules and can vie in national and international race including the American SCCA Championship and the FIA GT4 European Cup.
Costs of the Vantage GT4 commences from £96,645, with the choice of manual or sequential paddle shift transmission.
